I found this survey over at Marcia’s Healthy Slice the other day and thought this would be a fun way to kick off the week. I love surveys….
Current book: Well, I started reading Keep On Running by Phil Hewitt, a book about marathon running, but since classes are in full swing (first calc test tonight!) I haven’t really had the time to read. I have been perusing my pile of magazines sitting on my bedside and in my iPad, including Runner’s World, Health, and Martha Stewart Living.
Running path: My favorite place to run currently is the Cap to Cap trail, starting at the Jamestown Settlement. It’s a trail that will run from the past capital of Jamestown to the present capital, Richmond. Currently there are only 16 miles of completed trails, eventually there will be 50+. Non-running workout: Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred. It’s less than 30 minutes and gives you a good workout. I’m sold.
Drink: Water…or a nice hot Caramel Macchiato on occasion (when I have a lot of homework)…or pumpkin beer
Excitement: Vacation next month to Boston and Bar Harbor, specifically Acadia National Park, and of course, the Mount Desert Island Marathon!

Garden item: I don’t have a favorite garden item, well, because I don’t have a garden. But I am liking all of the pumpkins and pretty mums popping up at stores and garden marts!
TV Show: I like to watch old Good Eats episodes on You Tube…gotta love Alton Brown
Indulgence: Trader Joe’s Maple Leaf Cookies. I could eat them all in one day if I allowed myself.
Pet Peeve: sore shins
What is your current excitement? Any interesting running paths?
